I shall sleep with heavy heart, eyes closed
recalling surmising the whys and wherefores of conversation past
yet in my hour, there was hope, there was chance of love so true
now the clock ticks it tock and a heart that was so warmed by love
grows colder with worry and pain.

Yes wrong-doings I have seen, victim of another's scorn, scorn I have so fuelled with my own sharp tongue, harsh words echo endlessly along hallowed hallways of time. Mistakes made, uncompromised compromises, the rules of engagement gashed into grey matter, it is a matter of principals.

In sorrow my soul weeps, my eyes remain clear as to not forewarn others of this weight that I invisibly bear, One wish, yes just one, to be with the one that I love.
God? no, man? yes I am mearly just, Time ebbs away relentlessly, remorselessly and with no compassion to ease shattered nerve.

Love? most certainly, a love lost to the winds, what was once as beautiful and full as a leaf in spring, now turns to dust as surely a man must, for I am the creator of sorrow, the creator of destiny, steered by fate and thoughtlessness towards the sharpened jagged doom of a rocky shore - my life.

If the one that made my heart shine so fully reads this script of this jesters tear then know my heart is yours to hurt, love me, share with me the experience of your past, for a past I have yet to build within.

A crime committed to eachother, not crimes of passion, crimes of no compassion tallied neatly on black slates in space, in our time, in our minds. Asking forgiveness pleading so helplessly my heart draws a sigh, a mountain so high to climb, the journey will be harsh, for miracles do not occupy my breakdown of logic that I have lived by for so long.

Inwards my persona travels, many thoughts occupy the troubled mind, yes 'twas true, love is unkind to the blind, but too discard my love that thou has touched and breathed would be to cast away a kaleidoscope of  feelings in the raw mish mash of cells that make my being.

Forgive me my love, lift this veil of darkness that so adorns my world completely, let me shine once more, shine so brightly with a brilliance I harbour inside that you thought was laid to waste, for love beats its steady beat, and  with every moment that passes these tired eyes wish to see you again.....
