Listening to every heart

Persephone, come Today

Hear me, my dear sweet Persephone
come this day, I harken to thee
come and assist me in my desire
to pen the poets, to circle the choir

call upon the Muses, my dear
strew thy flowers along the pathway
deliver to their senses your scent
that their minds come clear, be brilliant bent

now, as you bring their emotions reeling
I shall take a golden thread to bind
the poets’ pens, so from this tree
you and I shall reside, to see

how a pull here, and a tug of line
as poets among your scents recline
and begin to dream of sweet harmony
to find their pens are moving through time

ah, Persephone, that you have come this day
to share with Sunshine, that which would be
this choir of voices, this lift and sway
with these our poets, and their love of poetry

Now, sweet, now, our work is done
Persephone, you may retire, my dear
and Sunshine, she will go along her way
while in our hearts, we hold our poets near

Such is the agreement
set loose every spring
trurn to earth from her
husbands realm cross
river styx she alone
needs no coin for the
boatman as buds sprout
to herald trumpet her return

For the moment swallows all things blinding our eyes to Heaven.

Kari dear heart, you beautiful Persephone you

Always when my heart is swayed by summer scents
And to the flower strewn meadow I hi me hence
I hear Persephone's voice calling out to to me
She bids me welcome to her garden of green beauty
Come Marsha cast your cares away join me in the dance
And joining hands with Persephone we in the field prance
For those magic moments the world fades from view
And is replaced by life painted in rainbows hue
Persephone gifts me her friend with these small idylls
And this brief stay of joy my heart with pleasure fills

Absolutely perfect love, I really love this one. Thank you You know why sister dearest
Take care
Love and warm stuff
As always

So this is your secret.. you call all the muses of the land and trap them until they write beautiful poetry for you. Well please take my muse and teach it your secrets. beautiful write.

oh Persephone
your heart is ruled by Pluto
the underworld cries
can you or will you help us
beatify our Sunshine

I truely enjoyed reading your poem, now to go buy more reference books. In my library your poem will be. Everything flowed beautifully.
