You are the mist within the summer rain
we blend like warm pastels of a rainbow
painting kisses upon our windowpane

You are the bouquet in scarlet Bordeaux
I am a graceful ballerina dancing
upon a music box in our sweet chateau

You are my gallant white knight prancing
I am a  maiden upon a carousel
enjoying the sweet art of  romancing

You are my oyster not an insensitive shell
I am a pearl within depths of your soul
the whispers upon the mirror of loves spell

We are the bells chiming as the rain tolls
We are not just in love we are but a whole

What a sweet testimony to emotions met and growing.

Thanks for the sharing

The beauty of this poem is stunning. I could see each image and see the history of a relationship become a snapshot. Excellent work.

Victoria I have to tell you that I loved these metaphors so much and the writing has such a nice classy mood about it!.......Like this....
