She feels like a poem
covered in pearls,
lost in a meadow
or ocean of furls.

Taken down into soft sand
by sun wind and sea,
glinted by moon light
protected by trees.

Whistled by gypsies
with dancing  bare feet,
laughed into good humor
feeling so sweet.

Listen the poem
whose cadence is rich,
pull thread through her daydream
and take the first stitch.
_____________

Sunshine--this one's for you!

In the dew of little things,
the heart finds its morning
and is refreshed.
(ee cummings)

Martie! Here it is, an early Saturday morning, and I'm blushing! You caught me up on this one, girl!  Oh shoot...you've even made me teary!

There is just no way to thank you...but that doesn't mean I won't stop trying!  Thank you little one...I cherish this, and it's a keeper!

Martie gal, you rhyme with such grace... I'd beg for more if I didn't know so well that I'll enjoy your words whatever the style. *S* I especially love the last two lines... beautiful!

Martie, this was so lovely and such a good reflection of Sunshine too.  Lord, but I missed your poetry, and I loved this rhyming one.  Into that library this one goes, and welcome home, I missed you!
