These are some memories that I have of my grandmother, I was about 8 years old.

Hiding in her rose garden, I stood.
I watched her cutting the roses softly.
Her dark skin, sparkled in the midday's sun.
With her cane she supported her life.
In the middle of her garden, I stood.
While she sat on her rocking chair, unable to walk.
I cut her favorite rose and gave it to her.
She put it on my hair,
kissed my forehead.
And sat there, staring at her rose garden.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh my gosh, this beautiful poem to your grandmother was so beautiful it made me cry! I have so many fond memories of my grandma too; she loves lilacs, and I would go outside with her on the lawn and smell the sweet fragrance in the air! (sigh) She is such a beautiful person just like you are! I can see the loving resemblance between you both! (smiles) You have such a beautiful heart, dear friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
