My Dearest,
I lay awake, each night
viewing stars amidst the darkness,
reminded of the brightness,
thy love adds to my life.

I am kissed by their twinkling touch
vibrating my inner self,
raising me to a level equal
to that of drifting clouddreams,
upon which I often float.

Each moment away from thy tender arms
leaves one in want, desiring the stronghold
placed upon this body,
willing it unto thee, causing an unsteadiness,
bringing me to my knees.

Every memory resides close to the surface
tingling my skin, reining me in,
allowing me to replace the hurts with the
pleasure-pain of loving all of thee.

Forgive me, My Darling,
for at this morn's dawning, I am
in need of thy thoughts...mysting in dreams.
And when I am all alone,
it is only My Knight, that replaces
the longing of my day.

Lovingly,
Lady Ollyne

"pleasure-pain of loving"

Such longing here, expressed very beautifully in these words.  Nicely done.

I really like this verse......

"Every memory resides close to the surface
tingling my skin, reining me in,
allowing me to replace the hurts with the
pleasure-pain of loving all of thee."

Very nice poetry indeed!

Yes I wish it were the other way around...less longing and more action...but alas it is not...James

I know this longing Poet Fair. . . thou hast indeed seen into the heart of this one. . . and, as always, thou hast penned a form worthy to bear thy name. . .

well done. . .
