Angela, My Little Angel

Two years ago
to this very day,
I lost you.

I was never able
to hold your hand,
or help you
learn to walk.

I felt your kick,
heard your heartbeat.
I knew in my heart
that you were a girl.

Two years ago
to this very day
I made a vow to you
that I will never break.

I vow to never forget you,
never let your precious soul
go without being remembered,
to always take five minutes
of each day
and say I love you,
Angela Grace.

I will always hope
that you are happy.

I know you are looking
after me and I think of you
as my special angel,
the daughter I always dreamed of,
the guardian angel
that I need so much.

Rest in peace, my dear one.
Run and play in the clouds.

I'll love you forever and always.
I'll hold you in my heart for now,
knowing that one day I'll be able
to hold you in my arms.

Destiny Nicole--I know the heartache from losing a child. Reading your poem brought it back to me...she lives always in your heart and in the poems you write of her. Hugs!

"Fragile as a soapish spere,
silent as a random thought.....
patient flights from there to here,

Thank you all, this is a tender subject for me and I guess it always will be, I will always cherish the boys that I have with me now. And most importantly will never ever forget the two children that I lost. I thank you all for your kindness.
