Frailty

We, all of us, look for a wit
A subtle laugh, a witty bit
A bit of this a bit of that
A little sweet a little fat

And all of us, love to fit
Within the web of peoples knit
Accepted by embrace or clap
A touch upon our back, a slap

A moment in the lime lights light
An instant of a happy flight
The uch within a moments much
The joining of the common touch

A flighty thing that happens rare
A pushy thing that makes us dare.
A bell that rings within our head
A seed that takes a rose to bed

We’re all of us, guilty as sin
This human frailty within

Seymour,

I really like this one.
You have captured a universal
truth. Even cranky old recluses
such as I am need that occasional
human touch.
Thank you for sharing.

Who can deny...we are all guilty only in our own degrees.  Enjoyed the read.

so true.......
so true.......
and how painful that it is true
I've always feared this human fraility
