~*~ I've Found The Tree Of Life ~*~

Today is as fragile as the twig in my hand,
So many thing on this plain yet to understand.
I've found the tree of life, no water will quench,
A spiritual symbol from nature and heaven sent.

~*~

It dwells within the woods down a moonlit path,
Where roses drip sweet dew from their lunar bath.
From a single spark of a star, a willow was born,
Guarding stories of love and weeping lovers torn.

~*~

So sadly it sways, an unsettling presence,
Both agony and pleasure are its very essence.
The wind through its branches is a tune to follow,
Its trunk is our hearts, but by no means hollow.

~*~

The leaves dance slowly, and waltz in a breeze,
This, our rhythm of existence with graceful ease.
Showered with rain, broken, then cleansed,
Strengthened by life and taught how to bend.

~*~

Within this mysterious forest is infinite knowledge,
If only we all just seek, find, and acknowledge.
Branches all connected to one another as they stand,
The same Mother, branch to branch, hand in hand.

~*~

This enchanted forest, surroundings so lush,
Knowledge painted so vividly with Nature’s brush.
As the sky turns black and the moon shows her face,
Close your eyes, venture out find this mystical place.

~*~

Where grass stays green every day, year to year,
And losing a leaf is merely shedding a tear.
In the snow and the fire, life here always prevails,
Open your heart to everyone, practice what love entails.

~*~

I found the tree of life, no water will quench,
A symbol from nature and heaven sent.

Sharon....this was so mystically beautiful, and absolutely dreamy!!!!!  Hauntingly captivating...lovely words set to the tempo of music from my heritage...I felt as if I were walking through the forests of enchantment you so vividly portrayed.
Standing ovations to a masterpiece of extreme LOVELINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hugs and smiles to you..... dawn

What a beautiful open and spiritual poem! I love the way that peace and harmony flow through it over and over!  It's the pattern of life that everyone needs to know. Like all the veins in a leaf are a record of our past and a map of our future!

I stayed staring at the screen this morning, absorbing the words and music. What a perfect combination: the words and your music. The actual ymbol for the Tree of Life resembles for the hand-pringt of mankind, but within its branches it does speak of the power of bending and swaying without breaking.  Shalom

Margie Girl ~* I did this with you in my heart as the inspiration.

Ethome ~* You got it! I wondered if anyone would pick up on the symobolism of the leaves, and thank you for reading!

Mabe ~* Ah girl, you got it too! Okay I am making these too easy now, I will try harder later!  But then again, if I make finding happiness easy, is that not my goal on this plain?  Hugs sweet friend.

Irish Rose ~* I shall take that double Wow with a curtsey...and thank you once again for always stopping in.

I have read this three times, each time seeing that yet another poet's remark of what I would have said, and then yet again...

may I say "ditto"?  And will you know that you are awesome?

Severn ~ Hi! Long time no hear! Thanks for reading.

Watersign ~ Boy I sure hope you have a BIG library   (I still have not figured out how that works yet!), so I print them out and keep in a binder by poet. I am a tad slow.
