ICQ Gossip Racetrack

In the strictest of confidence
I’ll tell you a secret about something
That no one else must know
Because OH! What pain it would bring
After all, it is someone else’s woe

Yes, I knew I could trust you
I know you won’t tell another soul
And since we are on the subject
Don’t they know this affair is out of control?
And that surely we all would suspect?

What! You mean you already knew!
Oh, most certainly a tangled web he waives
She should know there are no perfect lies
Yet, she practices to deceive
As they cling to their alibis

How can we know about someone never met?
Believing in rumours that got foolishly started
By those who know no more then jack
Spreading idle talk of the broken hearted
Through the ICQ gossip racetrack

I thought of this cool poem today...when I saw Seas post....
you got it right Marini-girl
and LOL@ Sunshine--you can tell she hangs around Lawyers all day

I only WISH I'd have had HALF the fun that I have HEARD I had in here...
Id be writing much happier poetry if it was true   LOL

I'm hanging on your every word
Even if you dont want to speak tonite
It's alright
I'm sitting outside heaven's door
listening to you breathe

I guess like most anything, it can be used for good or bad!

As my mother once said "the kind words are seldom heard but the nasty ones always are"

Marina, excellent read and sadly far too true.
