Place of Good Bye

a seed is planted
in the ground
death is near
all around
yet, there are flowers
in this place
people turn
tears erase
this is the end
we’ve grown
to know
a quiet place
most all
shall go
confused we
question life
and wonder why
as we blankly stare
and say our last
good bye

How did you know that was on my mind
and kept me up ALL night last night?
You're wonderful.

Very well-written and says worlds in
just a few words.

I've asked so many questions in life, sometimes you have to have faith and it's so hard....enjoyed your words very much, Helen.

1slick_lady - you write with many thoughts, and with feelings...

Sometimes I walk through cemetaries just because I find it easy to think there and because there I hear no questions.  This reminded me of that.
