Deep in the heart

Love is nature’s way
Of getting us through each day
When our heart is lost.
Love is, of all things written,
The least understood
Yet the most written about.
Love is a disease
With which I have been smitten
And do gratefully suffer

Live for love. Without love, you don't live.

Love this very much.

Question: is Tanka a form of poetry, like you have haiku, senryu, acrostic? If so what are the rules?

Watersign6 ~ Thank you very much.

Titia ~ A Tanka is a Haiku or Senryu in the form of 575 and you add 2 lines of 7, [e.g. 57577 or, as many 57 combination lines you want (at least two) ending with a 7.]
Did I confuse you?

I wish I could believe that nature heals, I have been told that it does. This is lovely

well, the Author of Love may take exception at being upstaged by nature...but I enjoyed the read and especially the ending

and then, who created nature, anyway

Perhaps we can find a cure...

"Hey Doc!", "Got an vaccine to cure the love bug?"

"What's that? No cure at all?"

Sorry Bud... looks like you a doomed to the fever... the night sweats... the aches... the halucinations.... and of course the side effects.... the highs...

Doubtless more words written and spoken in all languages over all time of Love than anything else, yet no real agreed upon definition. Maybe tis better.
