Rainbow in a dew drop .

As I sit here on the phone,
I look down to the grass,
And then in a sweat moment,
A rainbow appeared so fast .

I look down and see the glint,
The spectrum in the dew,
And as I sway a little,
It would glint from red through blue .

How strange is this ?
A rainbow in the grass,
I’ve seen a rainbow in the skies,
And even in a glass .

But a rainbow in the grass bellow,
So beautiful and clear,
I look at this and I feel such joy,
I even shed a tear .

Why can’t everything be like this ?
Full of beauty and of pride,
Why does life all suck so much ?
When there’s rainbows far and wide .
