Start Over

I found your promise ring on Saturday; it still doesn't fit me quite right.
When I saw it, I remembered that Saturday would have been our first year anniversary
I know you probably didn't think about me, I thought about you all day and every day since we parted.
Tears streaming down my face, I put it on my ring finger for only a moment, remembering the night you gave it to me
I took it off and put it in my jewelry box
I then decided to start over

you know that it's what you have to do Laura. . . we've all been there. . .

from your heart. . .

So sweet and sad....sometimes it's hard to begin again. I'll keep good thoughts for you as you move on...

Very lovely poem ParisGrl.

Yes, that's the only thing to do, starting over, in order to find the right one you're looking for. You'll find someday I'm sure.
