A Gift, Penned

to write, thus, to pen vision's intent
in line and deed and voiceless rent
to give dream and in dream, unpent
that desire of desires of all intent

~*~

this came in silent gift
from this, my lover's world
a feeling of loud the voice
held in kind unfurled
round then round my heart
the tender lines have curled
but not, he'll hear not
the love he has thus churned
and in this loss, this deepening
dark, an ember's flame still burns

~*~

to write, thus, to pen vision's intent
in line and deed and voiceless rent
to give dream and in dream, unpent
that desire of desires of all intent

~*~

and thus incumbent, I am sworn
by haste and chaste and corm
to carry forth outside the norm
but not lie fallow, to not waste
a moment of my sweet’s require
to flame this darkening ember’s pyre
to challenge those who yet not dream
ah those who only design the scheme
to rid one of a song’s conquest
from this my breast would wrest

~*~

to write, thus, to pen vision's intent
in line and deed and voiceless rent
to give dream and in dream, unpent
that desire of desires of all intent

~*~

Great write Decaflame!   These are the words you left as a comment for my work...

                                     "this came in silent gift
                                    from this, my lover's world
                                    a feeling of loud the voice
                                      held in kind unfurled
                                    round then round my heart
                                   the tender lines have curled
                                     but not, he'll hear not
                                   the love he has thus churned
                                  and in this loss, this deepening
                                  dark, an ember's flame still burns"

Reminds me of a famous poet's style and I can't remember which one....great writing and keep up the good work!!

The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up
spaces of consciousness and resistance; to language oppressions; to
re-language historie

that the "famous poet" goes unnamed suits me well, Ethome...for it was a poem that you had posted, and yet another this morning that was read, that fanned this penning....

so I curtsy, to you, and the other poet, for sparking yet another penning...

You get a "P" on this one Decaflame, and that of course if for perfection!  A wonderfully worded poem.

Tier, I thank you for reading...

Mysteria, a "P" might also stand for poignant, as I am still quite far from perfection...

for which I shall always strive...

A gift given gives
none leads who is not lead
no deed goes unrecorded nor
yearning unscorched in sky times

enveloping infinity opens the singular
heart brave be they who upon seas unseen
would sail markthe fathoms ropeless but pure
by feel determination sparks lungs breathe

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This poem is quite outstanding
in voice , in form
and undenibality
