Not Just Knots

Tied, I feel, from inside out,
Bound in ribbons hold.
Knotted tight, with no release,
Blocking flow, 'til cold.

Not today, my mind will say
Nor tomorrow, in my view,
Will lips of mine be touching yours.
I wear the chains of two.

Black and teal, desires of
The first time colours, worn.
There, where eyes were seeking mine,
An introspective, born.

Wrapped in words of others now,
Tied in knots, I'm bound.
Together, wonders never cease
The day You, I had found.

I'm not the who, from months ago,
I'm not the who you thought.
I am the me of long time past,
I am the one now caught...

And ribboned by the touch of you,
Tied, to morrow's feel.
Not just knots to be undone,
But yours alone, in real.

~Wynter

Wynter - yours alone I would have been, one iota of time, but changed. Perhaps again, perhaps once again........

You are always real when you write, as I know you through all of them.......

One iota of time, but changed
Perhaps again, some day...
Our paths will cross, our eyes will meet
No words, will we need say.

The past of You and past of Me
Will never pass us by,
Because the day when we first touched
Is forever in mind's eye.

Such strong and moving emotions. They shine through the words.

Thanks

Lovely write Wynter! The title is well established after reading through and then this ending....

"And ribboned by the touch of you,
Tied, to morrow's feel.
Not just knots to be undone,
But yours alone, in real."

I really enjoyed the mood of the whole piece!
