Shock me
It’s symbolic
Morbid
Melancholic
Ether
Alcoholic

I want to give in
I want to give in
And see what I can get
From this pain, misery and doubt
I want to see what
Living free’s about

Take my pain
Take it up
And then refrain

Be my guidance
Take me through this awful place
Leave your fear and dread away
Upon someone else’s face

The world’s just a stone
Caught inside my shoe
And I won’t free it now
It’s something I can do

I have a need
You often bleed
I have a need
If vampires drink
They also bleed
I have a need

So shock me
It’s symbolic
Mostly morbid
Melancholic
Put me under
I’m alcoholic

Take my pain
Take it up
Until I’m drained

Show your teeth
Leave them hanging out
I want to see what
Living free’s about
