My cocoon

My life was weighted with array…under a fate of tough display
And I searched shadows misty moor…wandering the far of evermore.
Lined with clouds of gray in the sky…were the butterfly learns to fly.
Dissolved in acids wearing wear…more then ever a mind could bear.

Chaos rang its cries from the well…pouring syrup on most of hell
Knobby knees paraded with ease…inhaling the sulfurs of please
And the rust pilled high into dust…in each new bust born into lust.
Echoes of echoes reechoed…in the hoe of Poe’s pendulums sew.

And wild is the wind full of seed…dying in air before there’s need.
While pollen heavy fraught in thought…floats in its wrought and comes to naught.
Geneses lines the streets with gold…glimmering sheets, shimmering bold.
But I am based under the sun…without a place for me to run.

I’m melting down to ugly gray…and still have not found me the way.
And time laughs a hearty bellow…as I write in the snow in yellow.
And who will inherit my clay…and who will dance the next of day?
It is a tending with no end…and a blending I can’t defend.

But if I could some small surcease…the slightest of the smallest peace
I’d write an epopee of rhyme…and leave it in the lee of time.

=========================

you have written many a rhyme ... each one penned divine
your words of wisdom ... ever engraved in sands of time
and ever imprinted ... on this heart of mine
never doubt you do indeed shine ... and MANY a gift you leave behind

JM,
You are my coolent of the moment
And clement of my remnant.
You are the butterfly that colors me
That bring the hues through which I see.
You are my Tinker Bell shading ennui
You are the phizz in my bree.
You are the one that makes my Randy happy
Snappy and much to yappy.
