The rain mixed in with my tears.
I peeked outside the window, as you walked away.
Only then,
realizing my pain.
Forcing you to pack and leave.
Too many sacrifices for me.
Love should not hurt like this.
I had to be strong for me.
I was not willing to admit,
that maybe I had something to do with it.
That love can wither away.
That love should be unconditional.
That love should be romantized,
not dramatized.
That one should love the other person,
as one wants to be loved.
That one should not expect anything if it is true love.
The rain mixed in with my tears made me comprehend that if I suffer with your love,
without you I would suffer more.
