what do you see in a rainbow?

ROY G BIV

the scientist speaks in numbers and classifications.
this is this and that's how it works.

simple?
nope.

close your mind to miracles,
turn the page,
don't look, you might not like it.

i wish i could speak in color.

the philosopher looks for the source.
who's to blame for this?

plato?
forms.

the prime mover has left the building,
you're on your own.
can you deal with that?

stop talking, i'm looking at something.

the poet cries to fit sight into words.
the curse of eyes that see.

pain?
nope.

we're here for a reason.
open every door,
and turn on the lights.

that's what rainbows are for.
