If I had another chance to love you,
I'd do better this time.
Past mistakes,
are like bandaids on my heart.
This time will be better,
I am ceratin of that.
I learned all my lessons,
just like you have.
Loneliness, is no fair price to pay,
as solitude sufficates.
In my pillow my tears are dried now,
but it took months to accomplish that.
Stumbling in love is a sure fall,
now I know better and I will watch out for such.
I promise to you that this time around,
I will make it right.
Knowing the pitfalls,
are like bandaids on my heart.

REally like this one, walker!  Well done!  Although, the wounds being band-aids ??? maybe the scabs, the evidence of healing...isn't that what band-aids are for, to promote healing to keep the wounds protected from bacteria/germs?  The last line's use of the phrase is much more right on.  What do you think?  Or is it just too early on Sat. a.m. for me to think clearly?

Love this Walker.
It's so easy to know our mistakes afterwards, but then it will be too late.

Thanks, Titia
