I ponder if you miss me,
and love me the same way

I look into strangers eyes
and think do they know
the depth of feelings I had,
and the love I used to show.

Discard me as I am rubbish,
in your eyes I cannot win,
just wrap me up neatly and toss,
my heart into the bin.

Yes odd as it may be,
my love just never dies,
and if you can throw away my heart,
just take a look into my eyes,
for these eyes you come to love,
the man behind them too,
yet wonder yes I wonder if you
see the things I do.

So onward with my heart in wraps,
and I hope the sun will shine,
for still there is a piece of me,

This is so sad, full of such emotion. Sometimes it is best to just move on. Not easy, but usually for the best. I have to say, I really like your work, Rich. I look forward to more.
