It’s Strange

It’s strange but when I find myself thinking of you
I don’t recall the pain just the beauty of a love so true
I forget the times you’ve watched my heart shed tears
And the endless nights my soul suffered loneliness fears
I remember instead the wonder of my very first sight
How I felt as if my heart had found its own sunlight
I can hear the sound of my breathless spirit’s soft sigh
As my soul discovered its wings and then began to fly

It’s strange but true that I can hear your name still
I carry it deep within me and I know I always will
It’s there in the echoes of my lonely desolate heart
Sighing sadly making me wish we weren’t now apart
I remember instead the magic wrapped in your kiss
How I felt that I had been made especially for this
I can recall still your breath as it caressed my face
As my heart took wing it speeded up it’s steady pace

It’s strange but sometimes I can still feel you in me
I carry your mark it’s still there clear for all to see
I forget all the evenings you left me waiting for you
And all times you lied to me telling me you were true
I remember instead the delight I found in your eyes
How I felt lifted up to heaven wrapped in your sighs
I can summon up the feelings that carried me away
As my spirit listened to your heart it learnt to sway

Only a memory of the same

You are as lovely as your poetry ...
and that is truly LOVELY !

Keep the memories, sweetie ... they age sweeter with time.

So good to see you !

First of all I need to say..
COOL PICTURE! Its good to see your face!

Most importantly though, is this beautiful poem that you have above. Do you mind if I reflect with you and say that I can relate? *sigh*
