To run through springtime showers
Through a field of clover
To run so far ahead of you
I get dizzy and fall back into you
To climb the rocky hillside
And hide inside a cave
To climb and old oak tree
And get my pants caught on the branch
To shout to the world
I love you
And hear the echo send it back
To find a three leaf clover
And play he loves me, he loves me not
For I will always win
To make a snow angel
In a new fallen snow
To share a cup of hot chocolate
And kiss like eskimos
To watch the morning sunrise
As the new day begins
To walk along the sandy beach
And grab a hand full of sand
And let it run through our fingers
Like an hourglass
To gaze at a rose after a rain
As the rainbow crystals glisten
Off the unopen leaves
These are moments
I thank God I'm alive
My prayers have been answered
I could not ask for more.

I enjoyed how your poem all flowed. Tell me how do you always win at 3 leaf clover? I never do. Mine is more like baseball. I enjoyed the read.

these are the moments I remember all my life
I've found all I've waited for
and I could not ask for more. . .

I love this song. . . and I love this poem. . . well done. . .
