in his lullabye
he swings me soft, eye to eye
cradling my moods

in his wistful sigh
he plucks all heartstrings of note
he knows me by rote

what then can I give
for his heart is why I live
in his lullabye

write with grace, all others lose face;
"Jo was very tall, thin, ... and reminded one of a colt..." LMA

beautiful writing.

oh, to live as a lullabye in someone's heart, that is a peaceful relationship

some may say using 'heartstrings' is cliché
but I enjoyed it anyway

Thank you all so very much for reading, and leaving your comments.  It is not easy, always, to put across a peaceful feeling, but apparently, this one might have succeeded.

Thank you again!
