Ask Him

Do your practiced lies tell me as much about you?
Explain more of you than the truth would do?
Will I understand where your spirit now resides?
Or keep seeking it while it somewhere hides?
If you hide the truth even from your own eyes
That your soul is lost won’t be a great surprise
It doesn’t have to be this way life can be good
You have the chance to be free if only you would

Wake up to what you truly want and hope to be
Seek the spark of happiness look for it constantly
Within the laughter of a child you will find peace
Open your heart to light let all your worries cease
Holding onto pain doesn’t make sense let it go
Place your fate in His hands feel His love flow
Don’t give yourself away for paper lies and tears
Ask and He will help you out from under those fears

Take His gift, He gives it to you over and over again
It was for you that He suffered there in agony’s pain
You don’t have to hide what you are He knows all
And in accepting His hand you can answer your call
Bid farewell to the life of lies and foolish petty fights
Open your mind to beauty and star spangled nights
Know that within your soul He has understood you
When things are too hard He will carry you through
Marsha

Take back the hope you gave,- I claim
Only a memory of the same

SweetMarsha~
This is so reflective of your heart in Him !

How very, very beautiful are these thoughts -

'Wake up to what you truly want and hope to be
Seek the spark of happiness look for it constantly
Within the laughter of a child you will find peace
Open your heart to light let all your worries cease'

I adore this ! !
*Hugs* to you sweet sis !
