A crystaline tear trickles down,
mixing with the saltiness
of the beautiful blue Pacific
lapping gently at my feet.
Staring at the horizon
I watch for distant sails
making their way to hidden oasis.......

Where are you?

Am I ever going to discover
your sweet lips,
the way you smile at me,
the longing in your eyes,
talking with you about everything
and nothing at all for hours,
making love until dawn glows brightly in our eyes

I thought I saw you....

The man who perfectly matches me,
who loves me solely for who I am,
who can appreciate how very much
I want to please him and be beside him.
But I just haven't found you yet.

Where are you my love?

Tears slide silently from emerald eyes
obliterating the beauty of the day.
My grievous wounds are
just too great
to watch other lovers
enraptured in the joys of paradise.....

Paradise is a lonely place...
And time is running out as I wait and watch the horizon for that one distant sail......

Aloha with warmest regards, Koko

When it seems the whole world walks two by two, aloneness is magnified. You've written a poem of beauty and sadness... well done!

Koko, May you find your bird of Paradise,
and may he be brilliant!
And may your paradise be beautiful again!

excellent, a superb setting. . . definitely not one for such sadness. . . you show the feelings very well here. . .

I like it. . .

Excellent writing Koko. How about we girls go on a tropical shopping spree?
