   When the feeling comes again--
this is going to hurt like hell.
I feel a ghost pain where it was,
an empty ache where it once dwelled.

A memory of a voice in calling--
fevered sheets in dream of you...
always, am I, ever falling,
in my dreams--dream sweet of you.

Did you know I long to touch?
Trace my fingers on your face?
Lace of touch across your back--
whispered kiss of cares away?

As I write-I feel this way.
Even now I lick my lips.
My tongue is lapping on my teeth--
tease of silken succulence.

Beneath my arms I feel the shake
taut and smooth in rumbled quake--
everything I'd thought before
was lost in rock and quest of more.

As the sun paints pink the sky
streetlights fading with the dawn
I hear an echo of your laugh
and strain to mark the notes of song.

I do not want it to be gone!
I wish this time would never end.
I wish I could forever dream
eternal arms with you to spend.

Now the sky in yellow, breaks,
and all my promises forsake,
I bury head in pillow's lake--
to dream to be with you again.

   When the feeling comes again,
this is going to hurt like hell.
I feel a ghost pain where you were
an empty ache where you once dwelled...

If only I could stay in the dreams... for the nightmare is the waking. *S* This hurts, this aches... this is superb!

Oh, this leaves me gasping for air! It sure does hurt like hell. And the dreams, ah they are so sweet. This is so incredibly good.
