I felt the flutter of a soft breeze As if someone was there with me I turned around and seen a bright light Glowing in the evening sky A warm glow came over my face And I felt an inner peace For hovering over me I seen my angel Watching over me I was drawn here tonight Not sure of my plight Are you here? To take me home Has my work on earth been done? She reached out her hand to me The vision became clear to me I felt a great release For I had finally set her free For the angel that was touching my hand Was my dear sweet grandma? That had gone to the Promised Land And the denial I had That she would be back I never realized I never really let go She released the burden In my heart, mind and soul With the love I feel for her She came back on earth To set me free One day you will pass Through the pearly gates And we will be together For all eternity |
