standing on a shadow's lace

Winds Of Change

there is something
in the air
I feel it
everywhere
blowing
is the winds of change
tie down
what you don’t want
rearranged
it blast hot
it gust freezing cold
new floats in
out drifts the old
entwines us
in yesterday and today
yet make room
it is here
to stay
you can try to stop it
with all your will
those strong winds
are
coming still
open up
or
they shall break you down
one way or the other
they will turn you
around

Very nice,
I like the short lines,
gives small bits that are emotionally easy to take,
to adsorb.
enjoyed the read.

Well done.  I think they ought to use that for a book and/or movie title ... what do you think

Yes, nothing can really stop the winds of change can it?  Enjoyed this one, Helen
