Not One Regret The sweetest thoughts I’ve ever known Are thoughts of you when I’m alone The thrill of love spins through my head At midnight hour in winter’s bed The memories warm the windy night And fill my heart with sweet delight As shadows of the tree limbs fall And dance across my bedroom wall A portrait of your face appears In visions held throughout the years But time has healed a spirit torn When love was lost as life was born Not one regret could I avowal For having loved and loved you well Elizabeth Santos [This message has been edited by Elizabeth Santos (edited 05-21-2001).] |
