Beneath thy boughs of waxen beauty
In awe we stand before thy majesty
Adoringly we feast upon thy beauty
Pearly white bridal blossoms rest
Among thy glossy leaves

May and June humbly request
Your presence
Your Highnest
For thy yearly blessings

Queen of the South
You reign supreme.

SongBird~

She bows in graceful serenade
Wafting fragrance supreme
Dancing sway of blossoms
among the leaves so green

*Thank you for this presentation the Queen of the South.
My trees are laden with blossoms and the fragrance is heavenly.

Thanks, Sunshine, and Marge for your beautiful photo and comments.. I was wishing I had a graphic to go with it and you provided it. Our Magnolia's are in bloom too, they just begged to be written about.

Ahh..yes..   The beautiful southern scent. One of the Casinos here in Biloxi has them growing inside, and it is a beautiful sight to see while walking around shopping or eating there.
I love the way you write about such beautiful flowers.
