Under The Sea
By: Noah Eaton
5/20/01

Under the sea I dance with a heavenly mermaid
With long brown hair sparkling with pearls down her back
Gorgeous sapphire fins shimmering with resemblance of the sky and her eyes
Soft velvet lips swaying in gypsy dance

My tuxedo is a warm heart beating with affection and a pair of swim trunks
I hold her hand, diving with her onto the pearl-tile Atlantis floor
Paying our tickets at the door, I put my arm around her back, swimming into the briny ballroom
Listening to the mermaid choir sing romance, as I stare into my girls eyes

Holding her soft velvet hands, fingers entwined gently, we sway gently in this turquoise and indigo coral reef
Fuchsia roses budding all across the palace walls, sighing in loves enchantment, as stained glass windows reflect rainbow fantasies
We smile looking at each other, helping follow the rhythm of the dance
She giggles softly delightedly, enjoying this spotlight dance

We spend a whole hour dancing together, feeling happier every second
She laughs in complete happiness, saying she is having the time of her life
I swing with her in aquatic flamenco dance, spinning around in hurricane pirouette
All a sudden a soft blue light falls upon the two of us alone, as soft jazz begins to play

We hug each other close, her head over my shoulder, moaning in delight
She tells me this is her favorite song as I can’t stop thinking about her hearing the seductive jazz
Slowly twirling on the dance floor, we face each other again, looking into each others eyes deeply
And she reaches her hand out to caress my cheek, dragging her fingers down to my neck, stroking with passion

I say the heavenly three words to her and she wraps her fingers around my neck and I rest my hands on her shoulders
And we gently kiss each other in the bright light, as pearl flashes explode around us
Fairies of the ocean rush in from the abandoned ark inn, spinning around us, lighting our kiss
We moan in beautiful joy, bending in to attach my lips with hers again

Floating up to the surface of the ocean, our lips slowly separate, floating with the waves to the seashore of Lovers Lagoon
Shaded by palmetto gardens and rose bushes, swaying in the soft monsoon winds under the blue moonlight
And she slowly lays me on the sand where the water kisses the shore, and I lay my hands on her
Under the moonlight, I look at her soft fair face, and she says, “I want to be yours forever, my love…hold me!”
I hold her close, touching her smooth skin, feeling the curving ripples of her body
I embrace her on the beach sand, making love to her, balming together as one under the blushing melting ala mode moon
Feeling her naked body, her heart attached to mine, throbbing softly in rhythm of the prom dance
My lips melt into hers, kissing her seemingly eternally, passion surging like the tidal waves through nighttime, splashing against our bodies

Slowly our lips detach, she breathes the pleasing salty air, feeling her warm breath flood my body
Smiling I euphoria holding the angel of my life close, to forever dance the prom of eternity with
For tonight we danced under the sea, I danced with my mermaid love
I pull her down close to me again to kiss her again, as we rest together on the tropical beachside, humming twenty thousand sonnets from the sea to our hearts…

noah, I have always found mermaids fascinating, and I love the sea...this one was worth the time it took to read, especially this late at night when I'm not myself at all.

Are you going to share the location of Atlantis?

Live for love. Without love, you don't live.

an awesome write you weaved. enjoyed the read.

Life is to short to not appreciate all of nature's gifts. As I sit & ponder in awe - quietly.

(smiles) Thank you all for your beautiful comments! Sorry I haven't been around much ina  while, I'm just finishing exams and getting over a depression, but I am recovering and will be back to again grace your beautiful words! I'm sorry I haven't been able to comment barely either, I have been so busy with school, please forgive me.

Though I've never found Atlantis, just finding it in my imagination is extraordinary to me. But when I do find it, I'll let you all know! (winks)
I have a big crush on mermaids; as a child I used to read children's books and would always smile looking at the pictures of mermaids, and now I dream of them all the time. (smiles)

Thank you all for your wonderful comments! I love you all!

MNay love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
