Sweetest heart still moving toward your dream,
Never cease your search,
And in moments of disarray when dismal doubts do cling like dust,
To your usually shining surface,
Call on the hand of friendship,
To swipe over your spirit,
Trailing with the scent of polish,
Like lingering happy moments,
To oil and moisten your faith,
And to sooth your tyrannical tears.
May the pain of doubt flee from you,
While you flip carelessly and joyfully,
In the tossing wind waves of renewal and love.
Be as beautiful as you are,
And may smiles touch your lips,
And crinkle the corners of your eyes.
May those smiles that do grace you inside and out,
Never crumble or be lost as broken fragments.
May you never be touched by sorrow for but momentarily enough to learn,
And in learning may you gain peace.
Softly, poet, know your heart.
Loudly, poet, say its love.
And patiently, poet, await your dream,
For it is well worth your wait,
And in the end,
You shall flatter it well.

To be a true friend is a treasure beyond riches, and your friend is truly blessed, and I imagine you are blessed with that friendship as well.  Well done!

stunning, stunning, lovely, marvelous...may I keep a copy?  Oh every poet should have this wish bestowed upon them.  Please e-mail me if I may keep a copy in my favorites' file.  Include the name of it for my olde mind.

back for another read, this is so touching, I have given advice and prayed for people only to watch them keep on making the same blind mistakes, but we can never lose hope.
