Goddess Of My Heart
By: Noah Eaton

Sitting on the seashore at twilight, gazing up at the stars
I think of the heavens, and the many gods that have shaped up our world
And the love that is shun among all of us, and the magic of it being shared with another
And I long for the day when love's golden glitter sprinkles me with love of another

I hear this glockenspiel tune begin to play faintly in the soft evening sky
With a slow, gentle crescendo, accompanied with the jingles of windchimes
An evensong unlike any other I've ever heard, which was being played exclusively for me
A melody that is carried across the world to everyone, one at a time, to express a sign of love

As the tune gets higher and the clang of bells mixes in with the song
I can see a rose-red falling star glissading toward me, spinning and dancing against the balmy tropical sky
Hunkering to the golden sand, I amazedly see the star gently land in front of me, and reflect versicolor lights
The sky becomes dappled with millions of colorful stars, and the tidewater is blanketed with glaucous hues

I begin to smile greatly as I see the star slowly open, and out blossoms a wonderous rose flower
Roseately, I watch as the pedals slowly unfold, pink rays dartle from the center like lively fireflies
And from the heart of the rose, a glamorous girl comes dancing out, gracefully and slowly
In a state of euphoria, I knew that she had come for me, she was breathtakingly beautiful

I knew I was in love, because I had never seen light attach so beautifully to a girl before
She danced across the sand in felicity, and she stopped in front of me, smiling as she looked into my eyes
She said she had longed for me so long, and she was happy she found me here
I said I was so happy I found her too, and we both smiled as we put our arms around each other and danced

We slowly bounced across the beach as we shared each others feelings and dreams
We shared happiness, condolence, desires...together
We had finally found each other, and as the ocean waves began to sway
We held each other and kissed; floodlights immediately shun off and waterspouts began to burst from the sea

The stars began to dance and the ocean began to move
As we shared a perfect love filled with soft spots and joy and words of enchantment
She was the goddess of my heart, the one who would love me forever, the one who would keep me safe and happy
Just as I was part of her heart, keeping her warm and forever giving her my love in return
She is everything to me...
Everything to me...
Everything to me...

As dayspring rose, I found myself back in my bed, on the other side of the mountains
I felt confused at first, but knew that I'll find her soon, and we will love each other...always

You will find her soon.

Live for love. Without love, you don't live.
