I Should Have Known
By: Noah Eaton
5/15/01

Kissing my pillow at night in my dreams
Feeling like I’m really in love with my queen
Or so it seemed…

I can’t help but feel so lovesick
But I can’t help but jump the gun every minute
I always surpass the limits

I should have known
That it would just come back to this again
I should have known
I’d find myself back where I started by then
If I had known
That I would just wake up heartbroken
If I had known
I could keep my will from crashing in ruins

My head swims in passion so frequently recently
I hold my thoughts patiently, but I’ve been long-suffering
How much longer with reality must I appease?

How I long to hear the voice of a true love so mellifluous
To hold my angel close, hear words from her heart so gorgeous
To kiss a wish

I should have known
That this wasn’t the time
I should have known
That she would disappear from my eyes
I strongly hope
That I can find her soon
I strongly hope
That this love I find is true

I wish I may, I wish I might
Soon I will encounter heaven at first sight
I’ll be hers, and she’ll be mine

Hang on dear one, I am coming
Your happy days are nearly approaching
Sweet darling

I should have known
That this was not yet meant to be
I should have known
That the joke was on me
But I still hold high hopes
I will find you
How I ever love you so
I need you…

Noah, don't ever give up!!  Love is always around the corner if it isn't already there.  Lots of different feelings you have shared.  ME

haunting poem, remain hopeful...( but that's me...always hopeful), may your wish come true.

let our hands communicate what's in our heart. A Wisp of a brush...

I just wanted to say that you did an excellent job on wording out the way you feel!  I have felt this way for a long time, and for me, it seems like these fellings i have will never leave!  But i wish you the best of luck, and i hope your wish comes true, and you have her once again!

P.S.---> dont we all feel like we have been played for fools!!!!
