fog swallows tree tops
the river's bank swells with flood
reshaping the earth

I like this haiku very much. How on earth do you get those beautifull pictures in?

I'm not much for Haiku's but this is what they are supposed to be like.  Wonderful.  Joyce

Do I remember this!  I am originally from Winnipeg and lived on the river, where when flood warming surfaced, you ran like crazy with a sand bag in your hand and everyone went home filthy for weeks.  You got the moment down pat in this one, great job!

Julian, Beautiful Haiku.  No picture needed as it paints its very own with your choice of words. But, your picture is beautiful too.

This is a terrific piece. Thanks for sharing it with us. Panne

I thought it was a great work.  I think it is something how so few words can say so much.  Also! The picture was perfect over the poem.   Roger - a new member.

I like short form because in focuses your words and thoughts very distinctly. Thank you for reading.

Jamie: yes, as you know we are definitely in fog country out here in the Pacific NW. lol

JL - Methinks this is a full fleged Haiku.

Well done!
