As the stars fall from the sky
Down upon the blue and silent world
I wipe the sleep from my eye,
I don’t know the reason why,
All the memories are of that girl

Every sight and sound, taste and touch
Comes cascading through a thickening haze
Everything that ever meant so much
Every dream of senseless things and such
Forever seen through these nights and days

And if I ever dared to see
Those things which I try to hide
All I ever was and all I ever longed to be
Is now coming back to me
A part I thought had finally died

Into the blue I fall into
No rhyme nor reason
No change of season
Into the blue

Sometimes to relish the moments of deja vu are a gift....

other times, it's worse than sandpaper going against the grain....

a good write, a good read....

somethings get under our skin, and stay.

The emote of angst in this is well conveyed and then felt by your phrases and comparisons...
and also noted and enjoyed was the very cool/clever rhyme scheme and its superb cadence flow.
Your talent for rhyme always impresses this reader.
(theres always a reason for rhyme) *S*

tis never easy being a moth,
tis not easy being the flame.
what some never see is--
sometimes ... most times ...
they are one in the same.

I've found that it's best to just write it out, and then throw it out. . .

excellent PK, you communicated the feelings well. . .
