~*~ Spirit Spot ~*~

The sand is my pillow.
My bed, the ocean floor.
Not much can I hear
Over the ocean’s roar.

Sunlight shining down on me,
It all just seems so heavenly.
An island across a bridge of water,
Waves, moving back and forth,
Like a teeter-totter.

Dolphins skipping merrily along,
I lay back and listen to the water’s song.
This is the way it should sometimes be,
Just Mother Nature, the sea, and me.

Sometimes I simply need to rest,
And I retreat to my spirit spot,
There I find on contemplatation,
I am thankful for all I've got.

Sudhir: Outside of being horizontal - this would be me most days at the ocean's edge, thank you.

Marge:   glad you liked it.

Sunshine: You bet they do, and for some it could be in traffic!

Serenity: How very lovely!  I wish I were there with you listening to their wings.

Green Eyes: Thank you...they say a picture speaks a thousand words, I just like making it 1,150!

Lone Wolf: That was my intention to give us all a sense of peace actually.

Balladeer: Yes Sir, that would be it, and thank you so much for reading my little poem.  I am thrilled you liked it.(really!)
