Lamentations
Virginia Salter

I said that I’d be back,
but I guess you didn’t believe
for there’s only been one little tally mark
left upon my sleeve

my last two poems have sunk
into a dark abyss
layered over with curse of the verse
could barely find where they is

well, I’m here now, to read and feed
words of encouragement at best
that is as long as orbs and hands
can stand up to the test

Oh Virginia, can I identify...sometimes I write and wonder where the heck they went!  Good thing I write for me and my "widdle feelings" don't get hurt easily.  This was all too true!  Good one.

VAS,

Both eyes and hands in tact
as a matter of fact,
I think your poems are great...
perhaps, my times have slacked.
But, I have jotted in
what I believe have viewed
and have found a privilege
to have replied to you.

....and I am so glad you are here dear lady!!!!  You are a wonderful encouragement to at least one lighthouse.

Oh, Mysteria, I know I'm far from the only one to drip, drip, drip to the bottom of the page. Thank you for coming in.

Latin Passion...Justice????? uh, poetic justice???

Lighthousebob...and you so are to me, so very encouraging.  And to be a lighthouse "freak" I deem it wonderfully poetic that I encourage a lighthouse.
