Sometimes Sometimes I’m perfectly fine. The sun couldn’t shine any brighter. The laughter couldn’t be more real. I can smile with honesty and truth. I can laugh with the ease I used to have. I enjoy the fact I’m alive. I accept the fact that I’m happy. Then. Sometimes I’m in so many pieces. The darkness hangs heavy over my heart. The tears fall like a never ending rain. The absence in my soul is so painfully clear. And I wish I could stop and hide. I wish I could just disappear. Then. Sometimes the good overrides the bad. And I think things are the way the should be. But I always find myself going back. Looking for where you are… for your face. Listening for your soothing whisper. Just wanting to run to the comfort of you. TaraB |
