In my pit of black despair,
dark angel comforts me
takes my pain and gives me air
sets my spirit free

I do not know what I give him
except my pain and sorrow
he comes reveals my solace whim
gives me hope for the morrow

When the night is long and black
and misery is my shroud
dark angel comes, with his dark sack
that carries rainbows proud

I don't know why he comes to me
in my darkest despair
I only know when I'm not free
his presence is felt there

his bleeding wings an earthly sign
of pain he bears for me
he covers me, and I resign
from worries; I'm set free

but what do I a craven slave
give him in return
I only offer a life he craves
with passion still to burn

Kethry,

a well written piece.  I hope you do not often find yourself in that place...

Oh, Kethry, these dark angels are something else aren't they?
Boy, I tell you they can sure put us through the mill.....good to see you here,
no one can leave this place, once you get in you can't escape.

I was taught at a young age, Dark Angels were from HELL. Yet reading this you have put a different perspective on them. I've read your poem twice and you make Dark Angels
seem more life giving. Let me know if this is what you meant. I get told quite often here that I don't understand what people are trying to convey.
