silence.
through a screen of words
there is silence
yelling loudly
into my being
filling me
with a longing
i thought i'd left behind
with my youth.
my youth...
when time was simply
complicated.
and now, i find that
simplicity
is no more.
complex is the heart--
and mine
too easily drifting
into its self-made snares
while leaning heavily
upon a glipse
of possibility...
silence.
there is silence
hovering above a box
i choose to fill
with the very heart of me.
holding little back.
saving nearly nothing
for myself,
should i fall
alone
into my tears
at the bottom
of silence...

no one should be silent unless it's out of respect or reverance.........right?

A moment of silence was truly needed in reflection of this poem to take in everything . A very nice poem, I enjoyed reading it .

dg, wonderful poem, I like the way you wrote it...

I believe that sometimes when we don't want it the silience is so loud we can hear our heart.

fallen rain...."...complex is the heart..."....and rather like the game of "pick-up-sticks"....a case of touching one, or some, without disturbing another or others. Thank you very much for suggesting this. Really. Bob
