I am not the pursuer
Gentle I have been
Hiding I will not...
why should I hide...

Everyone chanting...
burn her, burn her...
who will light the match?

An e-mail I sent to a fellow poet
to compliment her and encourage her
and how her poems spoke to me. Then
the story spread like brushfire...

Come clean I will...
How about you?

The storm last night got out of control.
The rafters brought skeltons
from East to West,
with accucations galore!

Temptress was right,
this I did not know.
I never intented to court
so and so and so and so.

I offered a olive branch to only ONE person,
to make peace, and turn the other cheek
and not cast the stones. To many A.K.A.'s
wouldn't know which one to address.

Fellow poets who fell into his web,
support I gave them - who else did.
(You noticed how quiet it got after that.)
They had the option to accept or decline..
All I did what I KNEW was the right thing to do.
Be there....who else did?

Oh...but still persistent he is.
Encourage I did not.
It is and is not my intent to "bring him down."
That will be by his own doing.

Still I keeping the "Golden Rule"
I posted VERY general comments to give
him a graceful out -
But, it's now a challenge for him.

Be his all mightly quest, conquer,
professing his love...still look
at the loss loves he lives behind.
I am not the one he seeks.

So you all wonder how did this come to be?
Ahh... it all started with Three little words.
and mistaken of identities or should I say "borrowed." He found a willing prey, (from what I hear).

The party I sought was out of town
for some days time.
Upon his return, he informed me
he had not posted!

Much to my surprise and horror,
I felt unclean and emotional used
If you not believe,
go back and look
for the doors I started to close.

In my reality world, what a mess I was.
Everyone around me, on pens and needles.
So, Pandora's box was created. Think back
BC; you closed the doors as well, when you
couldn't find me. Didn't give me a chance to
explain what I did and why.

All I am now is a challenge for him,
love me - he does not. Just a show piece.
I will not be a charm to add to your
collection. A graceful out I offered, but
the blood and hunt of the game you needed.

You have nothing to prove to anyone
or to yourself.
It is your choice how far you carry this.
You will not disgrace yourself or resign
to "just reading" It's your choice.

I'm sure everyone will go about their
daily lives as in past...
carefully not to step on toes, but still
pay homage.

I will respect not only as a writer, but
a compassionate man. Let it go...please...

As I've said continuously in the past and present, I came to PIP, to be among friends, and learn. From the beginning, I was the outsider, and not to be accept into its' fold. For I always tried to showed the christian attitude.

I have a special love that I keep dear to my heart. And when that time comes (and I say if), it will be by his choice alone. Not mine, for it is in my heart that carries the torch, not his.

So, in closing, if you choose to read my poems or stories, I will appreciate your sincere and honest comments. It's that what we're here for?

In friendship I come,

Like Joyce, I am truly sorry if someone hurt you . Try not to let it get in your way or stop you, as you obviously have a great deal of talent and a love for poetry .
Remember, be yourself, and anyone who counts will see you for who you are and like you for that .
I hope I haven't got the wrong end of the stick .

No one should feel an outsider, latin passion, however.....but sometimes it's better to keep private messages in private e-mails and just write beautiful poetry...you know?  We all welcome you, at least I do!!!!......

Hello Latin Passion...

No, there is no need to hide, nor hide your feelings.  The only thing that is not wise is to mention names, as this is a family and some would be offended. On the other hand, some of us know exactly of what you write, and feel you deserve to know that your words are not in vain.  The one of whom you speak has hurt many innocent people because of selfishness, not considering their feelings or caring if they have any.  Some of us have been fooled by smooth words, for we have the hearts of poets and words are how we love.
But, things done cannot be undone, and yet we must let go.  I wish this for you.....to let it go, my friend, and focus on the good friends around you, the family here who will not abuse you.  There are many of us at the table who welcome you to join us, and we do this with open hearts.  You see, we are all a part of each other here.....and it is give and take.  So, pull up a chair, and let the takers fall by the wayside, which they eventually do.  It's a good day to start over!

Live...Love...Be grateful for both!!

I came back to encourage you to keep writing, I have no idea who this is about or what and it's not my business, but please, write your poetry and post, sometimes it's the only thing that has kept me sane!   This has been a terrible year for me, personally, and without the kind, compassionate poets here on this board I would have been so lonely.  Please take care of yourself and don't stop writing......it's not worth it whatever it is...this is a wonderful poetry board, someone said to me recently it's like home, if you don't like the shag carpeting, you don't just up and leave!!!!!

    God bless

Well, I have a sneaking suspicion of what you write. I've seen your poems and also the answers to others poetry. Yes there seems to be alot of alias in here. But that shouldn't matter, people write with different types of styles and want to keep it seperate from each other.
Slowly I'm learning not to take what I read at face value. Just enjoying it for what is wrote.
Enjoy the poetry for the image that you see not for what you wish it would be.
Go ahead and write and read. No one can take that away from you.

Personally I think  all of this should stop here and now...that the original post was not done in fairness to whomever it was meant for, when there are other means to do so..and all these responses, agreeing or not agreeing are only fueling the fire..including mine...If persons on here would stop reading more into the poets words..and remember all writings are not of real events unless otherwise mentioned..that we all have imaginations and  especially that this is not a love connection site or one where you beg for an internet/cyber relationship... but a poetry site.. maybe then these feelings wouldn't erupt..and I also believe that whether a name is mentioned or not, the inferences alone are  more than should be made...I have held back for  days not wishing to respond..but this posting is in the wrong forum..and should either be under feelings or not on here at all...just my honest opinion, speaking from my heart  as your signature above says ..."I expect nothing but honesty, speak from your heart. "

and  believe me, I made a mistake once taking someone's words  personally and reacting poorly... and  am very sorry for it..but have learned that we all can make that mistake..please let this go  or take care of it  behind the scenes...maybe there is more  blame to go around then what is being mentioned here..it seems one-sided to me...and unless  all sides are heard it is not fair to embarrass or single out any member on here...

Indeed we are.  I know that I've always felt welcome here, and I'm not here that much.  But, when I do come, I always feel like these people and poets are like friends that are always there.

So, yes, please stay.

There is no doubt whatsoever I have missed something here....like everything. There is one thing I do know however. This is the Open poetry forum. We have other forums for discussion, such as Feelings and the Alley. This forum is for the posting and enjoyment of poetry for all. There is no room for inuendos or unnamed accusations. If you have been badly treated by someone, that is not good but this is not the place to display it. In the future, please discuss it with a moderator or post in the appropriate forum. Please accept this in kindness.....I do not mean it to be harsh. Everything has its place...
