state of confusion

Trucido

It is easier to condemn you
than to have pity:
images of you
strikingly inhuman -
formless, alien features
haunting us on the hour,
every hour,
and you have certainly
DEMONstrated
that you are inhumane.

You do not regret your actions,
as if having morals
equates to weakness.
You wanted potency,
you achieved that,
we are all your slaves,
for now.

Your time left
is filled with demands
of another world,
but make no mistake,
no matter how you busy yourself,
the occasion you fear most
draws near.

Corinne~
VERY well said ...
The hands of justice move  s l o w l y  toward the end~
but they are moving ...

Somehow there is a little satisfaction in knowing that.

Death is to good for many, and even if good prevails over evil - will not a lesser good thus take it's place as the new evil . Human kind is, and neads evil and hurt, life can not function without the balence .
I must confess that I do quite often wish that some people would be less inhuman though .
A lot of thoughts to think about . As ever you have hit right on the spot to cause a discussion .
If I could rid the world of evil I know I would .
Thanks a lot .

Justice is impartial. Having seen to it that the cogs and wheels and gears are as well maintained as possible, it is unwise to get too close to it during its operation. Nonetheless, well said.  Bob

Thank you, Deer and Marge. This was part of a word challenge, and I was also, in a way, rewriting a much more graphic poem that I had written last week.

Yes, the hands of justice move slowly, especially when the sly fox is behind the wheels.

Thank you, Tommy, Sudhir and Kathleen.

Bob, yes, wise words, you're right.

Thank you, Sven.

I'm assuming McVeigh = but regardless - - as henious as his crime was - I retain my 'vengence is mine saith the Lord'  belief

but none of what I said - can take away the forceful way you write
