Echoes Of An Angel
By: Noah Eaton
5/13/01

I remember being held in your lap
Your tears of joy splashing upon my soft face from your happy cheeks
Squirming around in your hands, feeling your heart beat
Listening to your lullaby, which forever echoes in me

You’re a beautiful angel, with the heart of a lamb
Holding me dear, making me the dear person I am which I treasure
You are the white carnation whispering in the garden of my soul
Shining as bright as can be, tasting as sweet as sugar

You were always there for me when I was a little boy
Healing my wounds and bleeding when I needed it the most
Comforting me when I had nightmares and cried in my seizures
When I felt depressed and hopeless, you brought me back to life when I felt like a ghost

Hugging me close when I felt the world had just tumbled all over me
Tucking me in bed whenever I was sick or hurt
Singing a lullaby to me, setting me to sleep peacefully
That same beautiful lullaby that echoes in me everyday, cheering me forever

I can never tell you exactly how much I love you
My love for you is a gift that lasts eternally
You will always be in my heart, every day
May my love forever make you happy

Now I am a grown-up, I am not a small boy anymore
But my heart has only grew bigger, my love is only greater, love is all it consists of
Your lullaby will forever echo in me, the angelic voice of heaven
The greatest gift a boy can have are the echoes of an angel, the Song Of Motherly Love

I have, I've walked that road each time; that's where my angel sleeps

Each of us has our own memories of our Mom and the words you share are great.  The "pictures" are wonderful.  Thanks,  ME

Noah~
I've always maintained a belief that we never forget the lullaby ~
You show me that I think I'm correct ~

'Listening to your lullaby, which forever echoes in me'

'Singing a lullaby to me, setting me to sleep peacefully
That same beautiful lullaby that echoes in me everyday, cheering me forever'

'Your lullaby will forever echo in me, the angelic voice of heaven'

Wonderful tribute to your mom !
