blindly staring out my window at the effects of the sunset,
I resign myself to the notion that it’s not really happening...
all is but a long twisting approach whose end I do not follow
simply because there isn’t a decent view of the splendor from here...

with each day without you near verifying futility,
I’ve prepared myself for yet another black and white tomorrow...
living so far from the peak of auburn’s promise,
I can’t continue with these advances restricted by monotony...

beloved keeper of my heart’s wilting resolve,
do not let go of the courage I have long let creep away...
please keep up the battle for my claim to gratification
until I’m through shivering from my passing on the climax of day’s end...

-kh 05/13/01

to be with you...
I've tried to hide my passion,
but it's just no use...
piece by piece I lose it
when you walk in the room...

You've written words that speak directly to the heart...

~~Snowpants~~I attach my tread to the poets above. Your words are inspirational - I can't express my heartfelt thanks. Your last paragraph has given me strength.

very very cool SP.
excellent employ of imagery, and presentation to define the starkness of the emotions.
very  vivid and impact effective...
love the phrases you chose to express the emote.
well done poetess chill

see the lights faded
that heaven is overrated
