On this day I am lost in remembrance sweet
It is the most amazing of feats
Recalling you through the years
Fighting back these lonely tears

I wish right now you could see my face
Touching my heart with your precious grace
The pain would cease and vanish
Sadness would be forever banished

Life doesn’t always go our way
At times you seem so far away
Yet when I need an angel by my side
You come from heaven where you now reside

I pray that you will help me be
The woman that you wanted for me
May your spirit guide me home
No more will I have to roam

It is on the darkest nights
That I am warmed by your light
Sent to me from beyond the grave
Giving me the strength to be brave

I have stumbled along the path
Feeling the weight of Satan’s wrath
Thanks to a very dear friend
My heart is on the mend

Yet I miss you each and every day
I wish you didn’t have to go away
I hope that I can make you proud
As you watch over me from beyond the clouds

On Mother’s Day I think of you
Living through all I am and do
Your unending faith in the Lord
Fills my heart and I am restored

This was absolutely fantastic and a wonderful read on Mother's Day. I too listen for the spirits as I go about my life. She would be very proud of you right now.
