look at all these words that I have piled here in this room! here's a pile of "if" and a stack of "what" need an "a" or an "I"? take a look around the back I've got them by the roomfull! right here on my desk I've got some "love" and some "heart" but, maybe you'd like some "time" or some "life" I think I've got some of those somewhere hey! wait a minute! don't throw that away! what is that? good grief, it's an "always" don't you know that you always need "always"? here, give it to me, I'll find a place for it but, wait a minute, what's this? hey! I've been looking for that! it's my favorite word of all it's the one word that I don't use a lot of, but always make sure that I have it's your name my most precious word of all --------------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. With a name like Packratmike, I can just imagine what all he does have stashed around. You make him sound just a little bit on the eccentric side. But so does some of his poems. You did good!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Sven...you have portrayed me to a chill....in style, structure and content.*S* At times, it does seem that I do collect, study and assemble together even the simplest of words to express my moods and emotions. To make sense of this packrat's clutter is one of my goals and you, my friend, have represented me well in this very special poem. " it's your name my most precious word of all" I loved the above quote because to me, it says a lot about many of my poems. "it's an "always" don't you know that you always need "always"? here, give it to me, I'll find a place for it" "always"....well Sven, I'm saving this poem to my hard drive and printing it to place in my collection where it will "always" remain.
