Her eyes lit to
dance in pleasure
as laughter bubbled up and
spilled in a rush
across the room
in mirthful joy
followed by the sudden stained blush of
realization
She flashed a guilty grin and
fell back to her work

And he, smiled
pleased
moving along into his day
carrying with him that one moment
unarmed

Very cute!  I absolutely love it...and know what you mean, too!

to be with you...
I've tried to hide my passion,
but it's just no use...
piece by piece I lose it
when you walk in the room...

Tessa - I loved this poem...the way you gave such life to your words...my favorite line -
"as laughter bubbled up and
spilled in a rush
across the room".....absolutely great!

i thank you God for most this amazing day;for the leaping greenly spirits of trees and a blue true dream of sky - ee cummings

I wrote about this subject too in one of my Dutch poems. Such a moment just gives you a kick.
